INDIAN KEBAB
(KEBAB HINDI)
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 large tomatoes, cut unto wedges.
- 2 large
onions, julienned.
- 3 tablespoons
semne.
KEFTA
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/3 cup pine nuts.
- 800g finely
ground lamb or beef.
- 1/4 teaspoon
black pepper.
- 1 teaspoon salt.
- 2 tablespoons
dried onion soup mix.
- 1 teaspoon
Arabian Spice Mixture.
- 2 tablespoons
chopped fresh parsley.
STEP
BY STEP:
- Fry the onions in the semne for 3 minutes.
- Add the tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes more(mix).
- Spread the mixture over the bottom of a rounded baking
pan.
- Mix the kefta ingredients all together and keep them for
5 minutes to blend well.
- Form the shape of the kebabs (the shape of fat sausages,
about 7cm. long and 3cm. thick).
- Put them on the top of the onion and tomato mixture.
- Cover the pan with aluminum foil.
- Bake at 350f
for about half an hour.
