LENTILS WITH SWISS CHARD
(ADAS-BIS-SILI)
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 liters of water.
- 1 cup brown
lentils.
- 1/4 cup olive
oil.
- 1+1/2
teaspoons salt.
- 3 cloves
minced garlic.
- 1 chopped
onion.
- 3/4 cup
chopped kuzbara.
- 2 cups sili.
- lemon.
STEP
BY STEP:
- Pick over and wash the lentils.
- Boil the
lentils.
- Add some salt
and cover, keep it until it is well-done(1+1/2-2hours).
- Saute the onions in the olive oil until soft.
- Add the garlic
to the onions and cook for another 1 minute.
- Carefully, wash and rudely chop the sili.
- Bring a deep,
coated pan, put in the lentils, sili(chard), onions, kuzbara and keep them for
about 15 minutes.
- Serve it with a squeeze of lemon.
NOTICE:
You do not need to add any liquid, because the dish will stew in the juices of
the chard.
