CHICKEN IN BROTH
(MNAZZALET DAJAJ)
INGREDIENTS:
- Salt.
- black pepper.
- 1 chicken, cut
up.
- 1 liter water.
- 1/4 cup semne.
- 1/4 cup
parsley, chopped.
STEP
BY STEP:
- Wash the chicken first and then dry it.
- Sprinkle some
salt and pepper.
- Heat the semne
in a deep frying pan and add the pieces of chicken.
- Brown them on all sides.
- Pour the
water, and add the parsley and some salt.
- When the water begins to boil, reduce heat, cover and
keep it until it is well-done(about 45 minutes).
- Taste and add some salt and pepper if you want.
- Put the chicken with its broth in a large bowl.
- Serve it with vermicelli rice.
