CHICKEN IN BROTH
(MNAZZALET DAJAJ)

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • Salt.
  • black pepper.
  • 1 chicken, cut up.
  • 1 liter water.
  • 1/4 cup semne.
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped.

 


STEP BY STEP:

  1. Wash the chicken first and then dry it.
  2. Sprinkle some salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the semne in a deep frying pan and add the pieces of chicken.
  4. Brown them on all sides.
  5.  Pour the water, and add the parsley and some salt.
  6. When the water begins to boil, reduce heat, cover and keep it until it is well-done(about 45 minutes).
  7.  Taste and add some salt and pepper if you want.
  8.  Put the chicken with its broth in a large bowl.
  9.  Serve it with vermicelli rice.
