CAPSEH RICE
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tablespoons semne.
- 1 large onion,
chopped.
- 1 teaspoon
salt.
- 2 cloves
garlic.
- 1 hot
pepper(whole).
- 4 teaspoon
capsi spices.
- 2 tablespoons
tomato paste.
- 1+1/2 cups
rice, rinsed.
- 3 cups of
water.
CAPSI
SPICES,INGREDIENTS:
- 1 teaspoon cumin.
- 1 teaspoon
pepper.
- 1 teaspoon
cinnamon.
- 4 crushed
cardomon seeds.
STEP
BY STEP:
- Saute the onion in the semne until softened.
- Add in the garlic, hot pepper, spices and cook for
another minute.
- Pour in the tomato paste and mix them all together, keep
them a bit longer.
- Add the rice and water and keep them until they boil.
- Cover, reduce heat, and keep it until it is well-done
(about 30 minutes).
