CAPSEH RICE

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tablespoons semne.
  •  1 large onion, chopped.
  •  1 teaspoon salt.
  •  2 cloves garlic.
  •  1 hot pepper(whole).
  •  4 teaspoon capsi spices.
  •  2 tablespoons tomato paste.
  •  1+1/2 cups rice, rinsed.
  •  3 cups of water.

 CAPSI SPICES,INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 teaspoon cumin.
  •  1 teaspoon pepper.
  •  1 teaspoon cinnamon.
  •  4 crushed cardomon seeds.

 


 
STEP BY STEP:

  1. Saute the onion in the semne until softened.
  2.  Add in the garlic, hot pepper, spices and cook for another minute.
  3.  Pour in the tomato paste and mix them all together, keep them a bit longer.
  4.  Add the rice and water and keep them until they boil.
  5.  Cover, reduce heat, and keep it until it is well-done (about 30 minutes).
