BEANS WITH SPICY TOMATO SAUCE
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 large onion, cut into slivers.
- 300g beans,
soaked over night.
- 2 cloves
chopped garlic.
- 2 medium
tomatoes, skinned and chopped.
- 1/4 cup tomato
paste.
- pepper.
- salt.
- hot spices.
STEP
BY STEP:
- Drain the beans, replace the water and boil until
tender(1+1/2-3).
- If you are using a pressure cooker, the beans will cook in
around 40 minutes.
- Fry the onions and garlic in the semne until softened.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and keep it for 10 minutes.
- Add the remaining ingredients beans, plus one cup of
their coking water and the hot spices.
- Keep them for another 15 minutes.
- Serve it hot.
- You can serve
it with rice.
